Arizona's Extraordinary Educators License Plate

As part of the Arizona Department of Transportation's specialty plate program, the purchase of an “Extraordinary Educators” license plate contributes $17 of the $25 fee to fund statewide mini-grants to support Title 1, first-year public school teachers and to build capacity in the classroom. The plate is available to everyone and contributes to the next generation of big thinkers, go-getters, and problem-solvers. Buy online at servicearizona.com!

In collaboration with the Arizona Community Foundation, the Madison Education Foundation is responsible for the administration and distribution of these grants. In 2017, the Madison Education Foundation distributed $38,490.52 to 42 public school teachers across the state. More information at: http://madisoneducationfoundation.org
